Yoga in the Park

Free classes led by a trauma-informed instructor for National Wellness Month

At the Alabaster Jar Project, wellness is central to our mission because true healing from trauma requires caring for the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. One of our core values is "Champion Wellness", so prioritizing physical, emotional, and spiritual health gives survivors a safe space to regulate their nervous systems, reclaim their autonomy, and build a foundation to move from surviving to thriving.

This 3-part yoga series is free to our community as a way to share the importance of nurturing wellness in your own lives, while highlighting how these practices support survivors of trafficking and sexual exploitation.

Each themed class includes 30–40 minutes of gentle yoga instruction, followed by an interactive activity with practical ways to improve your well-being based on that day’s theme.
