Phase 1

Grace House ADU

Phase 2

Horizon Homes

At Alabaster Jar Project (AJP), we believe healing happens in stages. Survivors of human trafficking need different levels of support as they move from crisis and stabilization toward independence, restoration, and long-term success. Guided by survivor voices and lived experience, AJP is building a housing model that meets survivors where they are and walks alongside them throughout their healing journey.

AJP will establish a survivor-led housing continuum that provides safe, supportive housing options across multiple stages of recovery. This expansion will allow survivors to receive the right level of care, support, and community as they rebuild their lives.

The first phase of our plan builds on the foundation we already have: Grace House, currently home to our 5 emergency beds. But we aren't just adding physical housing…we are building a pathway to long-term recovery.

Right now, Grace House serves as vital emergency and transitional housing, but our current structure cannot support residents needing immediate crisis assistance after hours or on weekends. Yet, healing doesn’t run on an 8-to-5 schedule.

Healing does not run on an 8-5 schedule.

Building an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) on our property will provide the continuous, 24/7 care our clients deserve. This space will house a dedicated, full-time staff member right on site—ready to step in whenever crisis strikes. True healing takes time, and it isn't always linear or simple. Having staff on site ensures survivors receive unwavering, compassionate support every step of the way.
